I feel like sharing my (not-so) little win today.
My girlfriend got her wisdom tooth extracted 3 days ago, so she wasn’t allowed anything solid-y for a few days, but she was allowed to have all the ice cream that she wanted (except the ones with peanuts), so I daresay life was still great!
But the evening after her surgery, she told me that she wanted to have Sinigang, unfortunately she couldn’t because they didn’t have Sinigang and her stitches were still bleeding so she can’t have any other food other than cooled oatmeal.
And so being the spoiler that I am, I accepted her challenge and decided to cook her favorite dish for her. Mind you, this was my first time to cook Pork Sinigang so was I fairly nervous because I didn’t want to screw it up.
Fast forward to today, she had my Pork Sinigang for lunch and needless to say, I nailed it! She loved it (or so she says she does)! And I think it’s safe to say I’ll be making for her soon. Yay!
